FAQs
When is the best time to prune my trees?
We get this question all the time!
Every tree or shrub is a bit different; some prefer dormant season (November - March) pruning, others prefer the growing season (April - October). There are also species or variety dependant recommendations or rules to follow. Feel free to give us a call any time of year so we can best help you.
Why should I hire an ISA Certified Arborist?
An arborist is an individual trained and experienced in the art and science of planting, caring for, and maintaining individual trees. The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certification involves a comprehensive exam and routine learning opportunities that ensures arborists are up to date on techniques and common practices.
Professional tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Beautifully maintained trees are attractive and can add significant property value. On the other hand, poorly maintained or damaged trees can be a considerable liability. Pruning or removing trees is often dangerous work. Hiring an ISA Certified Arborist ensures that tree work is done properly by a professional who is trained and equipped to work safely in trees.
How much does tree care cost?
Because every job is different, every quote is different. We are proud to offer services from small shrub pruning to large crane-assisted tree removals. With such variety in our services, the price could cost between 100$ - 10,000$. We always work with the client and their budget to find a solution that fits best.
Are you insured?
Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We are completely covered with liability insurance as well as professional errors & omissions.
Can I keep the firewood or wood chips?
Yes! Keeping the debris from your tree care project is a great way of doing your part to reuse and recycle. We would be happy to cut and stack firewood sized pieces for you on your property or leave wood chips behind. All other debris is taken away and recycled for mulch or firewood.
